The Department of Chinese Language is one of the first disciplines established at the KIU-NRZ.The Department offers a wide range of courses on the languages, literatures and cultures of China.
We particularly emphasize collaboration and exchange with overseas universities.We have established an academic partnership with Chinese departments in leading universities.

'Han language' or 中文; Zhōngwén; 'Chinese writing') is a group of languages[d] spoken natively by the ethnic Han Chinese majority and many minority ethnic groups in China, as well as by various communities of the Chinese diaspora.
The first written records appeared over 3,000 years ago during the Shang dynasty.
Standard Chinese is an official language of both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China (Taiwan)and one of the four official languages of Singapore.
